Glenn Mastro, President/Partner
After a successful stint working for PR giant Burson-Marsteller, as well as honing his skills in the sports marketing world, Glenn Mastro founded Mastro Communications, Inc., (MC) in 1995 to build a company that managed agency-based public relations and marketing that was unique to Madison Avenue. Coming from the global agency life, he wanted MC to operate as a large-scale firm, but packaged in a boutique atmosphere that offered a strategic, informed resource for media, analysts and clients, while providing a positive, people-oriented place to work.
As head of MC’s 10-person executive staff, Mastro oversees all areas within the company including corporate focus and direction, client services, business development and day-to-day operations. He also provides MC’s clients with public relations and marketing counsel and strategy development for corporate, brand and/or product-related business initiatives. Mastro has more than 25 years of public relations and marketing experience in consumer products, technology, sports, sporting-goods business, beverage, healthcare, travel and general-interest fields, including the establishment of Mastro Communications, Inc. Mastro has managed, and continues to oversee, product launches, corporate communications and brand management for a breadth of major national and/or market leading companies, including RWJBarnabas Health and the PGA of America, among many others.
Ari Edelman, Senior Vice President/Partner
Ari Edelman has been an integral part of the Mastro Communications (MC) executive team for more than 20 years and is involved with all the facets of day to day operations, while managing a breadth of internal and external marketing/PR initiatives. His core responsibilities include strategy development & implementation, client services, special event management, supervising media relations and managing the account teams. Edelman has a wealth of experience managing national marketing/PR campaigns for a diverse group of companies and associations covering the consumer, sports, technology, F&B, retail and travel sectors. Currently Edelman supervises campaigns for the PGA of America, RWJBarnabas Health, Devotion Spirits and the New Jersey Golf Foundation, among others.
With a strong background in media relations, Edelman has managed several high profile news conferences and media tours, and has a track record for delivering results — across all media platforms — that generate brand awareness and positively impact a client’s image and bottom line. Edelman served as the Media Director for the PGA Tour’s Ford Championship at Doral from 2003-2006, working closely with the PGA TOUR media officials and the South Florida Golf Foundation to manage the media center and on-site media operations for more than 400 media members covering the PGA TOUR event. Additionally, Edelman has supervised marketing and PR campaigns for Staples-The Office Superstore, The Hockey Company, RSM McGladrey, Schering Plough, Sportvision, Baby Jogger, The Midland Foundation and RealNetworks, among others. Edelman received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations, and a Minor in Business from Loyola University, Maryland.

The management team at MC also includes Chief Operating Officer Curt Benson, who focuses on day-to-day business management of the company, so the marketing/PR team can dedicate their efforts solely to client services. Among the core staff that drives the project management for clients at MC includes Jared Minski, Account Manager. Jared came to Mastro from the NJ Devils and has spent the past four years successfully developing and executing programs across Mastro's client portfolio. The management team is complemented by an internal team of executives and a stable of outside consultants, well-versed on all client needs, as MC continues to serve as a think-tank in creating and executing successful programs & campaigns that have served as the backbone of the company for more than two decades.
